Vythiri

Vythiri, a prominent hill station of Wayanad District in Kerala, is around 18 km from Kalpetta. Refreshing, pollution free and inspiring Vythiri hill station is one of the lesser known hill station on the Nilgiris. Vythiri, undertaken by Primeland Holdings Pvt Ltd, is situated near the Pookot Lake and covers an area of 150 acres. Situated at an altitude of 2600 ft above sea level, it had been a retreat for English planters during colonial times.

The main attraction of the site is the rope bridge, which leads to cottages cantilevered over streams. Above all, the lush green land, perennial streams, hills, and the cool mountain breeze enhances the beauty of the place.

Vythiri is 60 km from Kozhikode and 150 km from Mysore. Nearest airport and railway station are at Kozhikode.
