Periya




Periya is a small village located in Kasargod District of Kerala. Cashew plantations owned by the Plantation Corporation of Kerala occupies vast area of the village. The village came into limelight after the indiscriminate use of Endo Sulfan, an insecticide.

National Highway 17 passes nearby. Kanhangad Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
