Kuttiyadi River




Kuttiyadi River, a west flowing river, is an important water source of Kannur and Kozhikode districts of Kerala. Around 74 km long, the river originates from Narikotta.

Onipuzha, Thottilapalam and Kannathil are its major tributaries. This river has a catchment area of about 583 sq km.

Vadakara, famous for the martial art of Kalaripayattu, is situated on the banks of Kuttiyadi River.
