Shri Gopalakrishna Swamy Temple

Shri Gopalakrishna Swamy Temple is situated at Adityapuram in Palakkad District. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna. The temple was erected by the Vaishnavites settled here, who had migrated from Kanchipuram during the middle of 13th century.

The deity is installed in the 'Kaliya Mardhana' (with his right foot placed on the head of a cobra) posture. This makes the temple one of the rarest in India.

Other temples in the vicinity are the Mangala Vinayagar Temple and Aditya Temple.
