Tavanur

Tavanur is located in Malappuram District and lies on the southern bank of the Bharathapuzha River.

Kelappaji College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, established by the Government of India in 1963, is the major landmark here.

Tavanur is 8 km west of Kuttipuram Railway Station and 12 km north of Ponnani.
