Kuttikkanam is a small town located near
Peermade in
Idukki District. Nestled in the lush green hills, it is an ideal spot for trekking and adventure tourism. It is enriched with cardamom plantations. Thrissanku and Peeru hills are two nearby hill stations around 1 km from Kuttikanam.
Breathtaking views of the three ancient royal palaces of the Maharaja of Travancore can be seen. Another main attraction is the Kesari waterfalls (Valanjamkanam falls), in the Kottayam-Kumily route.
