Kuravilangad Moonnu Nompu




Kuravilangad Moonnu Nompu is a three day feast celebrated in St Mary's Parish at Kuravilangad in Kottayam District of Kerala. The highlight is the ceremonial procession held on the second day of the feast. The replica of the vessel used by Prophet Jonah of the OT (Old Testament) is taken out during the procession. People of Kadapoor locality have the privilege to take the vessel. The feast is attended by thousands of people from all over Kerala.
