Kuppam River




Kuppam River originates from Padinalkadu forest in Kodagu District of Karnataka. The river has a length of about 82 km and a basin area of 539 sq km.

It traverses through Kannur District of Kerala. It joins with Valapattanam River at Mattul before draining into the Arabian Sea.

The main tributaries of the river Kuppam are Pakkatupuzha, Alakutathode, Kuttilol Puzha, Mukkuttathodu and Chiriyathode.
