Puthupally




Puthupally is a village near Pallam in Kottayam District. It is 8 km from Kottayam on the Kanjikuzhy–Manganam route from Kottayam.

The main river is flowing through this village is Kodoor River. The Central Rubber Research Institute has its location at Puthupally.

The game of 'Nadanpanthukali' (Native Ball Play) originated at this place. St George’s Orthodox Church and Vennimala Sree Ramalakshmana Swamy Temple are the attractions of Puthupally. The annual feast of St George in the first week of May attracts thousands of devotees to the church.
