Tariyod

Situated 25 km south-west of Mananthavady and 18 km north-west of Kalpetta, Tariyod is a picturesque place in Wayanad District of Kerala.

Sree Etaththara Shiva Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a major shrine of Tariyod. The road from Kalpetta to Banasura Sagar Dam (the largest earth dam in India) passes through this place. Vythiri Hill Station is just 16 km away.

The nearest airport is Calicut Airport, 57 km south. Kozhikode Railway Station is the closest railhead.
