Kidangoor Skanda temple is located at Kidangoor in Kottayam District of Kerala. The Temple is dedicated to Lord Subramanya. According to legends, the temple was originally constructed for Lord Vishnu, but a sequence of events, recounted in local legends, caused this structure to be dedicated to Lord Subramanya. The prominent festivals of this temple are Krithika and Thaipusam festivals.
