Kayyoor

Kayyoor, a bewitching piece of land formed by a chain of hills draped in greenery, is a famous pilgrim center in Bharananganam Panchayat in Kottayam District. Here, a shrine devoted to the Pandavas draws a large number of devotees. Only ghee is used to light the lamps in the temple and women are denied admission inside, as in the famous Sabarimala temple.
