Kadalundi




Kadalundi is towards the north western border of Malappuram District, 10 km north of Parappanangadi. One can see a vast stretch of migratory birds which gather during the months February to April. The Pooram festival which last for seven days at Niramkitha Kotta Bhagavati temple is celebrated with pomp and splendor by the devotees. The Kadalundi River flowing through Kadalundi adds beauty to this place.

Vallikkunnu Railway Station is in close vicinity. Calicut Airport is the nearest airport. Local attractions include Kadalundi Bird sanctuary, Vallikunnu Beach and Trikandiyur Shiva Temple.
