Chembai Music Festival is an annual festival of
Kerala that is celebrated during the month of September. It is conducted by Sri Chembai Memorial Trust in memory of
Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar, a famous
Carnatic classical music vocalist. Thousands of Carnatic musicians take part in this fabulous event. In the festival,
Sri Thyagaraja’s 'Pancharatna Krithis' is sung by the leading artists.
