Vallathol Nagar

Vallathol Nagar is a small settlement near Cheruthuruthy in Thrissur District of Kerala. It lies on the Thrissur-Shoranur rail route. The place is around 5 km from Shoranur and is easily accessible from Cheruthuruthy and Shoranur.

The place is famous for Kerala Kalamandalam, a center of excellence in Indian performing arts. Kalamadalam Museum, Thrissur Grand Church, Vadakkunnathan Temple, Thrissur Art Museum, Thrissur Zoo, and Guruvayoorappan Temple are the nearest tourist destinations.

Vallathol Nagar Railway Station serves this area. Shoranur Junction Railway Station and Cochin International Airport are the nearest major railhead and airport respectively.
