Kottankulangara Devi Temple is situated at
Chavara in
Kollam District of
Kerala. The festival which is peculiar to this temple is the
Kottankulangara Chamaya Vilakku. During the occasion, hundreds of men dressed up as women to propitiate the goddess. The festival is usually held in the month of March.
The temple is about 12 km north of
Kollam.
