Chandan




Chandan is a sandal wood paste, worn by both men and women on their foreheads. Typically, in Hindu temples, this paste is given with prasada to the devotees. At the time of marriage ceremonies, you can see chandan kept at the entrance to greet the invited guests. Chandan has the power of imparting a cool feeling to the forehead.
