Theppatiyil Sri Badhra Kali Temple is located in Poikamukku, Attingal, Thiruvananthapuram District . Here the idol worshipped is Bhadrakali Devi. It is believed that the Goddess was invited to this temple from Avanavencheri Nackrankodu Temple, at that time the people in Theppatiyil was suffering from Measles. With the blessing of this Goddess the people in this village recovered completely from this disease.

Also they believed that the presence of this Goddess gave the peace and prosperity to them.

On every year in the month of December they conduct "Devi Mahathmiyam" "Yaagam" or "Yaethyam" for the prosperity of the villagers. Moreover, there is a food offering or "pongala" conducted in first of every Malayalam month.

Also, there is a "Sarvakariya Siddhi Pooja" on every Tuesday. The belief is that if you conduct this pooja for 21 continuous Tuesdays your wish will be fulfilled.

"Agni Kavadi", "Parava Kavadi" are another ritual conducted in this temple during the festival period.

During the festival season, food as well as clothes are given to the devotees.

Thousands of devotees worship this temple every year. Samuka Vivaha (Intercaste marriages) are also conducted in this temple.
