Palaruvi Waterfalls




Palaruvi Waterfall is situated near the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, 5 km from Aryankavu. It lies at a distance of 75 km from Kollam town on Kollam-Shencottai road. Palaruvi means 'stream of milk'. It is one of the famous waterfalls in south India. The stream of water falls from a height of 300 ft. The picturesque beauty of the surroundings cloaked in dense tropical forests, with the hills, valleys and cascades, is magnificent. The Palaruvi wood forms an attractive tourist spot. Best time to visit the place is June-January.
