Aduthala




Aduthala is a picturesque village on the banks of the Ithikkara River, in Kollam District. It is a border village extending to two Panchayats namely Pooyappally and Kalluvathukkal, on either side of the river. Aduthala Bridge connects the two banks. Paddy fields and surrounding hills adorn the village.

Major attractions in the vicinity are St.Thomas Marthoma Church and several IPC Faith Homes. St. George Orthodox Church (5 km) at Maruthamanpally, Oyoor Keezhuttu Sree Durga Devi Temple (4 km) and Velinalloor Sree Rama Swamy Temple (6 km) are close to Aduthala.

Nearest villages are Oyoor (4 km), Chenkulam (2 km) and Nadakkal (3 km). Aduthala is situated about 20 km east of Kollam.

Trivandrum International Airport and Kollam Junction Railway Station are the nearest access points.
