Wadgaon

Wadgaon is the headquarters of a taluk in Pune District. It is situated 20 km north-east of Kolvan. Wadgaon lies on National Highway 4, about 25 km from Kadus and around 10 km south-east of Takwa. Pune - the district headquarters – is 33 km south-east.

The hills stations of Kamshet, Khandala and Lonavala are within easy reach from Wadgaon. Bhimashankar Wildlife Sanctuary, Nethersole Dam and Karla Caves are some of the other tourist options available nearby.

Pune Lohegaon Airport serves Wadgaon. Wadgaon Railway Station is on the Pune – Karjat rail route of the Central Railways.
