Tadiyandamol

Tadiyandamol, 5,250 ft high, is the second highest peak in Karnataka. Literally means the 'highest point', this peak is an important trekking spot.

Adjacent to Makutta Forest, Tadiyandamol is noted for its coffee plantations. A resort, built during the 18th century, is at the base of the peak. Nalkunadu Palace and Abbey Waterfalls are the places of interest nearby.

The best time to visit the spot is in early winter. Tadiyandamol is 40 km from Madikeri and about 35 km from Virajpet on the way to Bhagamandala.
