National Institute of Technology, located in
Surathkal, is a deemed university. It lies about 22 km north of Mangalore along the National Highway 17. On the western side lies the serene Arabian Sea.
The institute offers BE/B Tech, M Tech, MCA and PhD programs. Placement and training activities are coordinated by the placement cell. In addition, training in laboratories and workshops, field work, industrial training and project work, guest lectures and industrial tours are organized.
Surathkal Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
