Kaiga




Kaiga is a tiny village located amidst sylvan surroundings of the Western Ghats and situated on the left bank of river Kali, in Uttara Kannada District. This village has many waterfalls and streams. It is now home to India's most modern and state-of-the-art nuclear power plant. Kaiga Atomic Power Station has found a place in the nuclear energy map of the world now.

Kaiga is 60 km from Karwar. The nearest airport is 150 km away at Dabolim in Goa. The drive on the smooth road from Dabolim to Kaiga unfolds the beauty of the Western Ghats.
