Sultan Battery




Sultan Battery is a famous watchtower built by Tippu Sulthan to prevent warships. Located in Boloor, near Mangalore, it was constructed in black stones resembling a miniature fortress. This watchtower is now in ruins and the remaining part is called as Tippu’s well. It has mounting cannons all rounds. Today Sultan Battery is a deserved spot.
