Mulki Shri Venkatramana Temple




Shri Venkatramana Temple is located at Mulki, 29 km north of Mangalore city. The temple was established by Shri Soira Vittal Bhat in 1260. The presiding deities of the temple are Shri Vittala, Shri Venkatraman, Shri Ugra Narasimha, Shri Bindu Madhav (the procession deity) and Shri Narasimha.

Darshan Seva is conducted every Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday at 10 00 hrs. The temple also provides scholarships to the poor and needy. The important festivals celebrated are the Annual Car Festival on Shri Ramnavami and Pratistha Poornima.

Mulki railway station is in the vicinity of the temple. The nearest airport is at Mangalore. Local attractions include Bappamadu Shri Durga Parameshwari Temple, Shri Mahaganapathi Temple and Shri Veera Maruthi Temple.
