Nandavar



Nandavara is a small hamlet which lies at 3 km from Bantwal in Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka. The picturesque Netravati River flows through this village.

Nandavara houses several ancient shrines. Shankaranarayana Temple is the main attraction here. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Shiva is worshipped in the form of Shivling. Other attractions in the vicinity are Narahari Parvatha, Karinjeswara Temple and Venkataramana Temple.

By road, Panemangalore is only 3 km from Nandavara. Mangalore Airport is the nearest airport.
