Located about 50 km from Madikeri and 20 km from Nagarhole National Park, Iruppu Waterfalls are amidst of lush green Western Ghats. It presents a stunning sight during the monsoon. Its origin is in the Brahmagiri peaks inside the
Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary. It later joins river Cauvery and is also known as Lakshmana teertha falls. Originating in the Brahmagiri Ranges, the falls plunge 170 ft down in two distinct stages.
