Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel




Lalitha Mahal Palace Hotel was a palace, built by the erstwhile Maharaja of Mysore to host his guest, the Viceroy of India. The building is a majestic white palace, two-storeyed with a projecting porch in the ground floor, spherical domes with lanterns and a central dome. It is situated at the foot of the Chamundi hills, outside the royal city of Mysore, which gives a panoramic view of the slopes and curving valley.

Accommodation features 54 rooms including 10 double suites, 2 duplex suites and 2 viceroy suites with attached baths containing bath-tubs and availability of running hot and cold water. Amenities include air conditioning, telephone, TV and private terrace sit-out. The hotel also houses a multi cuisine restaurant, tea lounge, banquet hall and bar. The other facilities include a health club, beauty parlor, information desk, luggage room, indoor games, baby sitting, library, helipad and money exchange.
