Narasimha Temple

Narasimha Temple is situated on top of a hill at Kurumgad Island - tortoise-shaped island - about 6 km from Baithakola in Karwar harbor, Karnataka. The temple is dedicated to Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

The annual Yatra, held in January, attracts thousands of devotees from far and near.

Kurumgad Island can be reached by traveling by ferry from Sadhashivgad Boat Jetty on the backwaters of River Kali at Karwar. The island is just a kilometer from Devbagh Beach, which is easily accessible from Karwar.
