ISKCON Temple




ISKCON Temple, one of the temples built by the ISKCON organization, is located at Hare Krishna Hill in Bangalore. This temple, known as Sri Radha Krishna Chandra Temple, is a blend of tradition and modernity to give the artistic style as well as the best of latest scientific technology.

The 56 ft gold plated Dwajastambha here is the tallest of its kind in the world, and the 36 X 18 ft gold plated gopuram is the biggest in the world. The deities in the main sanctum sanctorum are standing on complete piece of stone column of about 90 ft height.

ISKCON Bangalore also promotes and protects traditional art and craft of South India. It supports talented craftsmen by providing them an outlet for their works of art and craft.

The temple is open from 04:00 to 13:00 hrs and 16:00 to 20:30 hrs. ISKCON Temple is about 7 km from the Bangalore City Junction Railway Station and 13 km from Bangalore International Airport.
