Lakshadeepotsava




Lakshadeepotsava is an annual festival of lights celebrated in the month of Karthikai, which falls, either in November or in December. It is a 5 day festival starting from Ekadashi to Amavasya.

The festival is celebrated at the Manjunath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva situated at the foot of Kadri Hills near Dharmasthala. During the festival special programs are conducted on all the five days. Special pujas are also organized at the temple.
