Belmannu




A town in Udupi District of Karnataka, Belmannu is around 26 km south of Udupi and 39 km north of Mangalore.

The place derived its name from the Kannada word 'Bili Mannu' which means white soil. Sri Vittobha Mandir, Durgaparameshwari Temple and St Joseph's Church are the landmarks of the area. Karkala, Mulki and Moodabidri are worth visiting sites in the neighborhood.

Mangalore Airport and Mulki Railway Station (11 km) on Udupi-Mangalore route are the nearest access points.
