Jakkur Aerodrome on the
Bangalore -
Hyderabad highway is a tiny airstrip for Bangalore's flying buffs. The aerodrome is primarily meant for private flying clubs. It conducts various air shows, kite shows and exhibitions. Private helicopter service of Bangalore operates from Jakkur.
The Government Flying Training School is also located here.
