Built in 1877, the Government Museum is situated in Kasturba Gandhi Road in the premises of the Cubbon Park. There are 18 galleries showcasing a rich collection of coins, sculptures, inscriptions, old paintings and excavated items. It is open from Thursday to Tuesday. A small entrance fee is charged from the public.
