Madangeri

Madangeri is situated in Uttara Kannada District of Karnataka and is 34 km south of Karwar.

Shri Mahalasa Temple is the main attraction here. The fishing port of Tadri is 8 km away. The diversion from National Highway 17 to Gokarna, which is 6 km west, begins at Madangeri.

Goa Airport, 104 km north, and Gokarna Road Railway Station are the nearest access points. National Highway 17 has its route through the town. Also, the railway line between Karwar and Kumta passes through Madangeri.
