Ranchi Hill




Ranchi Hill, on the Ratu Road, is about 2 km from Albert Ekka Chowk in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It is at an altitude of 2,140 ft.

The prime attraction here is a temple popularly known as Pahari Mandir, which is dedicated to Lord Shiva. This temple is an ancient one, and is one of the prominent pilgrim places of Ranchi District.

The place is considered sacred, and the devotees throng here during the month of Shravan to offer Jal to Lord Shiva. A superb view of the whole town can be enjoyed from the top of the hill.
