Palamu District




Palamu District covers an area of 5,043 sq km. It is bounded by the river Son in the north, the district of Chatra and Hazaribagh in the east, Latehar District in the south, and Garhwa District and the state of Chhattisgarh in the west. Palamu is well known for rich mineral resources and distinct culture. The major tourist destinations are Palamu Tiger Reserve, Amjharia, Betla Forest, Daltonganj, Dundu, Gulgulpat, Kanti Falls, Kechki, Kulka, Loda Falls, Netarhat and Palamau Fort.
