Gola



Gola is a taluk headquarters town in Hazaribagh District of Jharkhand and is around 27 km south-east of Ramgarh. It lies near the district’s border with Bokaro District.

Prominent tourist interest nearby is the Rajarappa Waterfalls. Canary Hills, Hazaribagh Lake, Hazaribagh National Park and Tilaiya and Konar dam constitute interesting excursions outside Gola.

Hazaribagh, the district headquarters, is around 60 km north-west. Nearest airport is at Ranchi. Barka Kaha Railway Station serves Gola. National Highway 23 passes through Gola.
