Ispat Express




Ispat Express runs between Howrah Railway Station in West Bengal and Sambalpur Railway Station in Orissa. (Ispat Express derives its name from Jamshedpur, the Steel City. The word ‘ispat’ means ‘steel’.) The train touches the towns of Rajgangpur, Rourkela, Jamshedpur, Jhargram and Kharagpur on the way. It operates daily and covers a distance of 563 km. A/C chair car and second seating coaches are available.

Train number 8311: Howrah to Sambalpur, leaves Howrah at 06:35 hrs.
Train number 8312: Sambalpur to Howrah, leaves Sambalpur at 08:40 hrs.
