Sareya

Sareya is a taluk headquarters lying in the northern corner of Dumka District, Jharkhand. Jaypur, Rajapokhar, Hasdiha and Hariharpur are the neighbouring towns. It is around 40 km north of Dumka. Giridih is around 85 km to the east, Bokaro is 135 km to the south-west and Dhanbad is about 100 km to the south. The closest railhead is Jasidih Junction Railway Station, in Deoghar District. The place can be accessed by Gaya Airport and Patna Airport.
