Nawada




Nawada is the administrative headquarters of Nawada District, in Bihar. It is a beautiful town, divided by the Khuri River into two parts – the left bank bear an old look while the right bank is a more modern one with a public office and railway station. Nawada is 93 km south-east of Patna.

Places of tourist interest include Kakolat waterfall, Narda Sangrahalaya, Shobh hermitage, Nawada Musuem and some ancient Jain and Buddhist sites.

Nearest airport is at Patna. Nawada Railway Station is linked with Gaya (56 km), Patna and Jamui. National Highway 31 passes through Nawada. By road, Nawada is connected with Patna, Nalanda, Gaya and Jehanabad.
