Gwalior-Howrah Chambal Express runs between Gwalior Railway Station in Madhya Pradesh and Howrah Railway Station in West Bengal. The train is named after the Chambal River. It connects the holy place Chitrakut with other parts of the country. Major towns on the way are Durgapur, Asansol, Dhanbad, Gaya, Allahabad, Jhansi and Datia. This express covers a distance of 1,307 km. Second A/C, third A/C and sleeper class coaches are available.
Train number 1159: Howrah to Gwalior, leaves Howrah on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday at 15:15 hrs.
Train number 1160: Gwalior to Howrah, leaves Gwalior on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 06:00 hrs.
