Khunti




Khunti is a major town in Ranchi District and is around 60 km south of Ranchi. It is about 2000 m above sea level and is famous for its luxuriant forests.

The verdant green cover and numerous streams crisscrossing here makes Khunti an ideal place for nature lovers. Angrabadi, a temple complex with separate niches for Lord Shiva, Lord Hanuman and Lord Ganesh, is the major attraction here. Panch Ghagh Fall, a beautiful waterfall amidst lush green forest, is only 6 km from the village.

Ranchi Railway Station is the nearest major railhead. Ranchi Airport is the nearest airport.
