Palkot Wildlife Sanctuary




Palkot Wildlife Sanctuary is situated at Palkot in Gumla District, Jharkhand. Established in 1990, it is spread over an area of 184 sq km. The sanctuary is a haven for leopards and wild bears.

Palkot Wildlife Sanctuary is around 25 km away from Gumla and 92 km south-west of Ranchi, the state capital. National Highway 23 connects the place with Ranchi. Nearest railhead is Bano Railway Station.
