Gopalpur

Gopalpur Village is located at Nirsa-cum-Chirkunda in Dhanbad District, Jharkhand. An ancient pillar, which belongs to the period of Emperor Ashoka, is one of the highlights. A huge stone image believed to be of Ashoka can be seen nearby.
