Dhwajadhari Hill

Dhwajadhari Hill is a popular tourist spot located close to Kodarma town in Jharkhand. Kodarma is around 70 km north-east of Hazaribagh. Dhwajadhari Hill is also known as Pahari.

It is believed that Rishi Brahmaputra Kodram had lived here, while performing a scared penance, for more than 14,000 years.

Atop the hill, there is a magnificent temple of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati and Lord Hanuman. To reach the hilltop, one has to climb about 700 steps. The foot of the hill remains as a place for organizing marriage ceremonies.
