Deoghar District




Deoghar District covers an area of 2,479 sq km, with the town of Deoghar as the headquarters. The main crop is paddy, and coal is the important mineral. Major industrial units are pharmaceutical unit in Deoghar, silicate factory in Madhupur and the Railway Wagon factory in Jasidih. Bakulia, Burhai, Baidhyanath Temple, Domohani and Karo are the important places to visit.
