Daru




Daru is a scenic hamlet in Hazaribagh District of Jharkhand. It lies close to the district headquarters town Hazaribagh and is easily accessible from here. Sarauni Kalan, Meru, Banli and Morangi are the villages and towns in the neighborhood.

The state highway connecting Hazaribagh and Bishungarh passes through this village. Tourist destinations such as Hazaribagh Lake, Tilaiya and Konar dams, Canary Hills and Hazaribagh National Park are easily accessible from here.

Regular bus services connect Daru with Hazaribagh and Bishungarh. The Hazaribagh Road Railway Station, on the Howrah-Delhi Grand Chord line, is the nearest major railway station. Ranchi Airport serves this area.
