Bidri is a picturesque village situated near Manjhari of West Singhbhum District
, in Jharkhand
. Agriculture is the main occupation of the people here. Paddy and maize
are the main crops.
Places of tourist interest include a small lake, located on the outskirts of the village, and a hillock in the east. To the west of the lake, is the forest Dak Bungalow, which commands a fine scenic view. The Thakora Waterfall is about 6 km from the village.
The major town close to the village is Chaibasa, the administrative headquarters of the district.
